Operating principle of MKT-210A
The electromagnetic unit is installed with its compatible fuel-system body. Energizing the 27 VDC-class coil moves the shutoff element to open the passage; removing power returns it to the normally closed position. Serviceability depends on the moving element, seat, seals and electrical section where fitted. Contamination, reversed connections or an incorrect supply can alter the intended response.
Role in the aircraft system
Engine fuel system; exact engine and valve-body pairing must be confirmed from the installation documentation. The valve works with pipelines, a pressure source, downstream equipment and the control circuit of the applicable system.
