Operating principle of MKT-193
A spring maintains the closed condition when the coil is not energized. Applied voltage produces magnetic force, moves the armature and opens the fuel passage within the compatible engine or aircraft circuit. Serviceability depends on the moving element, seat, seals and electrical section where fitted. Contamination, reversed connections or an incorrect supply can alter the intended response.
Role in the aircraft system
Aircraft or engine fuel system; exact installation position and equipment configuration require confirmation from the parts catalogue. The valve works with pipelines, a pressure source, downstream equipment and the control circuit of the applicable system. These items are functionally related but must not be described as interchangeable components.
