Operating principle of MKT-174
The valve combines an electromagnetic actuator with a fuel-compatible body. A spring holds the passage closed without power; coil energization moves the armature and permits fuel flow. Serviceability depends on the moving element, seat, seals and electrical section where fitted. Contamination, reversed connections or an incorrect supply can alter the intended response.

The valve works with pipelines, a pressure source, downstream equipment and the control circuit of the applicable system.
