Operating principle of MKT-163
With power removed, the spring-loaded element closes the working passage. Energizing the coil develops magnetic force that moves the armature and opens the passage for the controlled medium. Serviceability depends on the moving element, seat, seals and electrical section where fitted. Contamination, reversed connections or an incorrect supply can alter the intended response.
