Operating principle of GA-231
A full handle rotation changes the metering section from minimum to maximum setting. The compensating elements respond to pressure variation so the selected flow remains stable within the regulator limits. Reliable operation depends on clean working fluid, the moving element, seat, springs and seals. Contamination, reversed connections or an unsuitable pressure can prevent the intended response.
