Description
Purpose and application
GU-19-1 is a double beam generator tetrode for modulators, frequency multipliers, power amplifiers and oscillators operating up to 500 MHz. It is an electronic component for dedicated RF equipment, not a replacement for an ordinary receiving tube.

Construction
The tube has a glass baseless envelope, a common indirectly heated oxide cathode, eight lower leads and two upper anode leads. The heater sections can be connected in parallel or in series; the connection is chosen only for the circuit of the equipment.
Operating data
With parallel heater connection the nominal voltage is 6.3 V and current is 1.7 ± 0.2 A; with series connection the values are 12.6 V and 0.85 ± 0.1 A. Rated anode voltage is 350 V, screen-grid voltage is 250 V and transconductance is at least 4 mA/V.
Cooling and selection
