The design uses indirectly heated oxide cathode and external forced-air-cooled anode. These features affect equipment layout and installation requirements: the specified connections and heat removal must be provided for the exact tube execution.

Generator tubes are used where high-frequency power must be generated or amplified. Similar dimensions, a related designation or a comparable cooling method do not establish identical electrical characteristics or interchangeability.

Selection and installation

Before ordering or installing, compare the GU-103B designation, terminal layout, mounting panel, electrode voltages, heater mode and cooling arrangement with the equipment passport.
