B1-YAR2-1A is an onboard HF transceiver unit and the core transmitting and receiving module of the YADRO-1A1 and YADRO-1G1 aircraft radio communication systems. The unit is designed for generation, transmission, and reception of HF radio signals and operates as part of a complete onboard radio station together with a power amplifier, antenna system, control panel, and auxiliary units.
The transceiver provides operation in the HF frequency band and supports simplex radiotelephone communication between aircraft and ground stations, as well as between aircraft in flight. B1-YAR2-1A ensures preset, non-search, non-tuned operation, eliminating the need for manual frequency tuning during operation.
The unit operates in the frequency range from 2.000 to 17.999 MHz with a frequency step of 100 Hz and supports multiple emission modes, including single sideband, amplitude modulation, and telegraphy modes. When operating as part of the complete radio station, the transmitter provides peak output power of not less than 100 W on frequencies up to 12 MHz.
B1-YAR2-1A is powered from the aircraft onboard DC electrical network with a nominal voltage of 27 V. The unit is installed in the radio compartment of the aircraft and is designed for integration into HF communication systems used on helicopters such as Mi-8 and Mi-17 and other compatible aircraft.
