The BKNA115V aerodrome power voltage control unit is designed to protect aircraft onboard electrical systems from connection to external AC ground power sources with unacceptable voltage or frequency parameters. The unit blocks connection if power quality does not meet defined limits and disconnects the source automatically if parameters deviate during operation.
BKNA115V operates as a three-phase 115 V, 400 Hz voltage and frequency monitoring relay within the aircraft electrical system. It supervises aerodrome power and controls contactors depending on compliance with protection thresholds, ensuring safe integration of ground power.
The BKNA115V unit is used in aircraft electrical systems of An-148, Il-114, Il-96-300, Tu-154M and Tu-204-100. It functions in continuous mode as a protective control device within the ground power interface circuit.
The BKNA115V includes phase voltage monitoring circuits, time-delay protection logic, relay control outputs and power interface elements. All operating parameters are defined in manufacturer documentation.
